Component: Progress bar

We have several different types of progress bars and the specific progress bar you have available in your template may differ slightly based on your specific requirements and implementation. All progress bars automatically calculate the students progress based on the Canvas API.

Course progress

The course progress bar will provide students with an indication of how far through the course they have progressed. Typically these progress bars are placed on the home page of a course and are based on the completion of the module requirements that are configured on the Modules page.

Module progress

The module progress bar will provide students with an indication of how far through a particular module they have progressed. Typically these are place on topic or content pages and are based either on the module requirements or on the structure and order of the pages within a module.
