How to insert a component into the Rich Content Editor

When you edit a page with Scaffold enabled you do any of the following to insert a component into the Canvas Rice Content Editor (RCE).

Add your first component

Click on the Scaffold icon to open up the component menu. Simply find the component you want to insert and click on it. This will add the component directly into the RCE.

Adding components to existing content

If there are existing Scaffold components in the RCE, then you can easily insert additional components. To do so, find the area where you want to add the new component.

Click on an existing component and choose Insert before or Insert after depending on if you want the component to be added before or after the existing component. This will open up the component menu. Find the component you want to insert and click on it.
