Can Scaffold be used in existing courses?

Yes. However, legacy courses and items will not have access to all the functionality of Scaffold unless you decide to ‘upgrade’ that component when editing an item – a page, quiz, or any similar Canvas object that utilises the Rich Content Editor editor.

Scaffold will do its best to not interfere with the content of an existing page, but testing is recommended to ensure it works in your specific context and environment.
